It is with profound sadness that we hear of the sudden passing or our DA member Otto Mlinndi Williams.

Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Nomisa, his children and his family.

Otto was the mayor of Hankey in the period before all the municipalities in Kouga were amalgamated into Kouga municipality.  

He also served as an ANC Cllr in Cacadu (now Sarah Baartman District Municiplity) as chief whip and later Mayoral Committee member.  

In 2013 he joined the DA and stood as a DA candidate in Hankey for the by-elections in that ward.  Otto was again an aspirant candidate for the DA for the 2016 local government elections.

Although Otto suffered of poor health he continued to serve in the church and in the community.  We will feel his loss.

May his soul rest in peace.
