“Twenty years ago, millions of South Africans got to vote for change for the first time. Since then, many people’s lives have improved. For a while, under presidents Mandela and Mbeki real progress was made.
“We’re not making progress any more.
“The latest ANC campaign says we’re moving forward, but we’re not. Under Jacob Zuma’s ANC, we’re fast moving backwards.
“In 2009 Zuma promised South Africans millions of jobs. Where are those jobs?
“Our economy isn’t growing and our unemployment is higher today than it was in 2009. When Jacob Zuma says he has a good story to tell, is this what he’s talking about?
“The only thing that Zuma’s ANC has managed to grow is corruption.
“In South Africa, R30bn is lost to corruption each year. The taxpayers’ money that was stolen to build Zuma’s R246m private mansion in Nkandla is just one part of this massive problem.
“Corruption kills any chance of creating jobs. It kills any chance of delivering effective services.
“And there’s only one way to fight it: you must vote it out.”
