The DA has established a branch in the ANC stronghold of Ocean View in Jeffreys Bay.

The activists manned a table at the registration weekend on the open field next to the IEC tent.

“In 2011, we had no presence here during the local government election so I am very happy with the growth of the DA in Ocean View as well as the commitment of the DA activists in the ward,” said Nico Botha, the Councillor responsible for Ocean View.

Voters who still haven’t registered to vote in 2014, can visit the IEC office in Humansdorp before the date of the election is proclaimed by President Zuma.
