The Kouga has two members on the DA list of potential candidates to go to Parliament and Bhisho after the 2014 elections.

The DA member of Parliament for the Kouga, Elza Van Lingen.

Elza Van Lingen has been selected in the number 10 position on the national list, while Danny Benson has been selected in the number 18 position on the Eastern Cape provincial list.

Andrew Whitfield (Port Elizabeth) is the number one candidate from the Eastern Cape on the national list.

Current leader of the DA in the Eastern Cape, Athol Trollip retains his number one position on the provincial list.
