Kouga Municipality will finalise the upgrading of fire hydrants in sections of St Francis Bay this week.

Residents are advised that the water supply to the following areas will be interrupted on Tuesday and Wednesday to allow for the upgrade:

Tuesday, 28 January 2014:

St Francis Drive between Leighton Hulett Drive to the end of Otterslanding; Borrie Bend, Clove Way and Palamos Roads, Duiker Place and Phillippa Place ; St Francis Drive between Kansies and Harbour Roads, Assissi Drive; and Homestead Road

Wednesday, 29 January 2014:

Arthur Place, Spray Avenue, Moby Dick and Harley Streets

The water supply will be shut down from 08:00 to 16:00 on the days.

NOTE:

In order to avoid dirty water and air locks in the system, residents are advised not to use the water in the pipes during the shutdown and to run the garden tap nearest their water meters to ensure that the water is clear before using the taps in their houses.
