The DA is on track to retain Ward 5 in Humansdorp in a crucial by-election on 27 November.
About 200 people attended a public meeting last night that was hosted by DA Shadow Minister of Sport Donald Lee and Kouga Member of Parliament Elza Van Lingen.
The support for the DA in Humansdorp is tangible and the candidate for the election Desmond Petersen is confident that the DA will retain the ward we won in 2011.
“The people are sick and tired of a lack of service delivery and they believe it is time for change”, said Petersen, who grew up in Arcadia.
The other by-election is taking place in Hankey, also on 27 November.
The DA is confident that both by-elections will be won and that we will once again govern in Kouga.
Viva DA Viva!!
