The residents in upper Wavecrest were without water for most of Friday as a result of work undertaken on the reservoirs at the JBay water works.
One of the reservoirs were scoured and cleaned which left the other reservoir unable to cater for the demand placed upon it.
“This is in line with the attempts of the municipality to provide water of an acceptable quality to the long suffering residents from the boreholes. The water supply was reconnected just after 17h30”, reported DA ward Councillor Dave Alderndorff.
