Kouga Municipality has issued an apology to residents of the greater St Francis area for the current delay in servicing sewerage tanks.

According to a statement issued by the Municipality, the sewerage trucks assigned to St Francis Bay have both been sent for repairs.

Sewerage trucks from Humansdorp are being used in the interim to service St Francis Bay as well.

Due to the increased workload, the trucks are running behind schedule.

“We apologise to residents for the inconvenience and would like to give our assurance that the repairs are being treated as a priority”, said the Municipal spokesperson.
