Tomorrow, 19 June 2012, the Democratic Alliance (DA) will host its first Live Talk session on Mxit, on the subject of the Youth Wage Subsidy.
The Live Talk will give Mxit users an opportunity to discuss the policy proposal with DA Parliamentary Leader Lindiwe Mazibuko MP, DA National Spokesperson Mmusi Maimane and DA Shadow Minister of Finance Tim Harris MP. It is important that young South Africans know about and can participate in discussions around the proposed Youth Wage Subsidy.
As part of its commitment to deepen democratic debate in South Africa, educate South Africans on various policy decisions that will affect their lives, and make the party accessible to as many South Africans as possible, the DA has launched a portal on Mxit – the largest social network in South Africa.
Users will be able to learn about the DA’s vision, policies and people, and engage with our leaders during regular Live Talk sessions.
Date: Tuesday, 19 June 2012
