The Jeffreys Bay Tourism Association held their annual general meeting last week at the Tourism Office in da Gama Road.

The DA was represented by our Councillor Brenton Williams, who was subsquently elected onto the board of Directors for the 2012/2013 year.
A number of challenges face tourism in the Kouga and the new board will have their work cut out in addressing these challenges.
Councillor Williams will be responsible for communciation between the Municipality and the Association, as well as between the Jeffreys Bay Tourism and its members.
“Tourism remains the only sustainable creator of jobs in Jeffreys Bay and we need to ensure we attract tourists to our town”, said Williams.
“A energetic board has been elected by the members and we are looking forward to taking tourism in Jeffreys Bay forward this year”, added Williams.
